We’ve all seen the dreaded Bog Pit after a heavy rain and hope it doesn’t happen to us. If your lawn has water sitting in it for hours or days after a heavy rain, you may have a drainage problem. Do you have problems with your grass but are able to grow moss? Is the yard wet and squishy a lot of the time? If you answered yes to any of these questions you might have a drainage problem, but the issues can be solved.

Salsa Time

Salsa Time is upon us! Spring is here and it’s time to get tomatoes and peppers planted.  You want to have all the essentials to make salsa.  If there is one thing we can all agree on, tomatoes and peppers grown at home just taste better!.  There are so many varieties, it makes it hard to choose. You might love, Celebrity tomatoes, while your friend swears by Juliette tomatoes.  I may love Bell Peppers and my neighbor may choose Gypsy Peppers!  When you plant your tomatoes and bell peppers you might want to add cilantro, basil and oregano as well.  Tomatoes, Peppers and herbs are great companions and thrive when planted together.

Kids in Action Field Trips

For the summer one of my favorites are Vinca Plants since they really deliver. In Kingwood we know that we can have hot dry summers and the Vinca will be happy. The Vinca has glossy green leaves and pretty pink, white lavender, or red flowers.
